Vitalik Buterin has authored a new proposal regarding a limit the number of Ether that could be created. According to CoinDesk, Vitalik has proposed the maximum supply of Ether at 120,204,432. This would be double the amount sold in its ICO in 2014.
Antigua and Barbuda To Set Up Cryptocurrency Exchange
The government of Antigua and Barbuda is setting up a cryptocurrency exchange. According to Bitcoin.com, government officials believe a cryptocurrency exchange could generate revenue while putting the country “on the cutting edge of the new system of creating wealth.” The legislation related to the exchange will be introduced in parliament “shortly.”

Russia’s Central Election Commission is planning on implementing a blockchain-based voting system for the next Russian presidential election in 2024. As reported by Bitcoinist.com, the commission believes the new system would protect against cyber attacks and hacking. The commission also believes that the system would prevent election rigging “from any side whatsoever.”
